“ Great food at a great price! One of my go to Thai spots. The curries are always delicious and the portions are huge. Pad Thai is flavorful and comes to the table hot. Service is always great and it's usually not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. ”
“ Another fantastic lunch at Real Thai Food!! Crab fried rice, Tom Kha Chicken soup, Fried Fishcakes, Pad Se-ew, and Green Curry - all super yummy!! ”
“ First time here, and won't be the last.. so fresh and tasty! Small and cute little place, so if you want to eat in, you can, or take out, which I did. The prices are excellent .. and the service was great, very friendly and helpful. Clean and easy to park right out front. ”
“ I finally tried this place. The Isan sausage was very good among the best I've had I will be having it again. I've had better Thai iced tea but hey it's free and still good. It's my favorite beverage. Musaman curry was solid. I like that pickled green chili condiment. Also they asked what spice level on the curry I said medium. Very friendly service. Place is divey but I like it. I'll maybe try a soup next time. ”
“ Came here on a Monday on 12/2 with my partner to check out this new place. We've seen a lot of restaurants come and go in this little storefront, so we hope to see that Real Thai Food takes this space for a good while! The gentleman at the front who took our order was extremely kind and funny, we felt right at home when we walked in to take our order. We ordered a Pad See Ewe with chicken for dinner to go, and to our surprise, we got free thai tea with our order! My order was out of the kitchen within 10 minutes of ordering, which was great! As for the food itself, having it to go and taken home (even after stopping by somewhere first!) it tasted delicious. The pad see ewe was flavorful, plentiful, and extremely fresh. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of their dishes (I'm looking at you, Mango Sticky Rice ) Stop by for some great Thai food at a reasonable price! ”
“ I worked in the casino across the street for 20 years and this is the first time I tried to eat here. I don't usually go to a run down looking restaurant but today I just end up coming here. From now on, I will often come here. This won't be the last time. I will actually recommend this to my co workers. We ordered beef pad see ew, chicken pineapple curry and salmon garlic. Everything tastes phenomenal! I'm really surprised and impressed. I don't usually take time to write a good review but this place deserves this. The service is excellent as well, Coke is our server. Not sure if he is also the owner or just a worker there And I shouldn't forget to mention , Free Thai tea! ”
“ We traveled from San Francisco to Long Beach for a mini vacation and, to our surprise, struggled to find any restaurants open for Thanksgiving dinner (our bad for not planning ahead!). Just when we thought we'd have to settle, we discovered Real Thai Food--and wow, they completely saved the day. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We ordered three Pad Thais, BBQ Ribs, Spring Rolls, and Chicken Satay, and every single dish was bursting with flavor. All of us agreed: this is hands-down some of the best Thai food we've ever had. Real Thai Food is truly a hidden gem, and we're so grateful for the amazing experience. 4/4 cousins highly recommend--this will definitely be a regular stop for us whenever we're back in Long Beach. Thank you for making our holiday so special! ”
“ BOMB! My new go-to Thai restaurant. Flavors are on point, prices are fair, good service. This is a no frills kinda place. Very small restaurant, with some seating inside. Nothing fancy, but trust me when I say that the food hits! I ordered the Lad Na, cream cheese wontons, spicy eggplant, and duck soup. Everything was sooo flavorful! The Lad Na had crispy noodles with their delicious gravy sauce. The sauce was so tasty that I ate the leftovers with rice. The cream cheese wontons were solid. Crispy and just what you expect from a well made cream cheese wonton. Spicy eggplant was bomb! The dish was definitely cooked in the wok because you can appreciate the flavor of the heat. The sauce had Thai basil and garlic. Also this dish came with rice which was a nice touch! The duck soup was super flavorful and rich. Wish there was more duck, but the broth was so delicious. We also got free Thai tea with our order, which was a sweet surprise. Will definitely be back! ”
“ Real Thai Food, sounds real good, now I want noods 15% off Grand Opening promo Free Thai tea w/ order https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=VMdWVqdMahjxXQik1uVKiQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Formerly (and briefly) the location of Mlem Mlem Crab & a Bioniticos/Paletas shop prior to that, Real Thai Food is a tiny, family-owned restaurant residing in Hawaiian Gardens. Seeing their 15% off Grand Opening promo, and free Thai tea on top of that, Real Thai Food beckoned me to give them a try. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-o7Wkdus_5JHl4wuHcX2iQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Lunch Specials- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=DBKggm-DqW-E5hhN4Zu7JA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA All of Real Thai Food's Lunch Specials (aside from the curry dishes), start at $10.95 w/ chicken, pork, tofu or vegetable option. Shrimp or beef is an additional $2, and brown rice is an additional $1. Pad Thai is always a good litmus test for a Thai restaurant, seeing how it is the national dish, so a medium heat plate of pad Thai seemed the right choice. Pad Thai Lunch Special- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=wsTv4CVN10W695WsFzjawQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Wow, look at all that food! The pad Thai lunch special seemed to have the same amount as a regular order, plus 2 fried wontons, sauce & salad. I heartily dug into the delicious noodles, and even had a hard time finishing it w/ one-third left. A lot of food, and a bargain (even without the 15% off). https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rdN5vch7okXHvqA3ezxcaQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was good. The family members and other staff were hospitable & appreciative of earning everyone's business. The wait wasn't long for my food to be ready. There is a decent amount of seating via tables, not so much for large parties. Parking is via a private lot out front consisting of 4 parking spots (1 handicapped) and nearby street parking. The area is a little dodgy, so I'd avoid the streets (especially at night), recommending parking at the nearby McDonald's, EoS Fitness shopping center or the former 99 Cents Store plaza. Real Thai Food, really good food. Real Thai Food's lunch specials are quite the deal in our day & age of inflated prices for a meager amount of food. I immensely enjoyed their pad Thai, both in taste & quantity. I'm eagerly anticipating exploring the rest of their menu, and will frequent Real Thai Food as much as I can before the 15% off Grand Opening promo expires. Highly recommend! ”
